Board Certifications: American Board of Dermatology American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) Member Board Certification American Board of Dermatology, Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery Specializing in the treatment of melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer, Dr. Karimipour is double board-certified in Dermatology and Micrographic Dermatoligic Surgery. He has specific training in Mohs Micrographic Surgery, cutaneous oncology and cutaneous reconstruction. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a fellow in both the American College of Mohs Surgery and American Academy of Dermatology. He is a recognized leader in the field of dermatology and has published extensively in the field. He is a frequent speaker at national and international dermatology meetings. Dr. Darius Karimipour was born and raised in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. He attended Detroit Country Day for high school and then completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan. After graduation, he remained at the University of Michigan and is a graduate of the University of Michigan Medical School. He completed a medical internship at the University of Chicago and a residency in dermatology with two years of specialty training in melanoma at the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center. Dr. Karimipour completed additional advanced fellowship training in Mohs Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology at the University of Michigan Cancer Center. He was recruited in 2000 by the University of Michigan where he remained an assistant professor in the Department of Dermatology until 2009. He left the University of Michigan in 2009 to join a busy skin cancer practice focused on Mohs Surgery in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. Dr. Karimipour is on staff at William Beaumont Hospital - Royal Oak and St. Joseph Mercy Hospital Oakland. He has been listed in Best Doctors In America since 2003 and is annually on Hour Detroit's Top Doctors list. Dr. Karimipour was nominated by his peers to serve as the President of the Michigan Dermatological Society in 2020. In his free time, Dr. Karimipour enjoys playing tennis and visiting Northern Michigan with his wife and four sons. Dr. Karimipour is currently accepting new patients. |
Victoria Leicht, MS, PA-C.
Victoria is a board-certified Physician Assistant licensed by the state of Michigan. She has been practicing in field of Dermatology since 2011. Victoria graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Pre-Med Nutritional Science from Michigan State University in 2008. She earned her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2011 from Philadelphia University. With over 10 years of clinical experience, Victoria performs comprehensive skin exams, minor surgeries, and Botox injections along with diagnosing and treating all skin conditions including: acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, warts and skin cancer. Victoria is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistant, and the Michigan Dermatology Physician Assistants. Victoria resides in Lake Orion with her husband Tim and two children. In her spare time, she enjoys going up north, working out, and traveling.
